Inspiring Founder of The Year
This award will be presented to a woman in the small to medium business category, who has achieved positive results in her own business. She will have improved her bottom line, increased her market base, and extended her business horizon. She has had a positive impact on her community as an entrepreneur. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to companies female owned / operated in the state of Idaho. For nominations of candidates less than 3 years in business, consider the Fresh Start criteria below.
Women in Manufacturing Award
This award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judging committee's opinion, has contributed to the success of her company and is a role model for others. This award will honor a woman who is effecting change in the manufacturing and industrial production space. Presented for innovation and leadership. This category was created to emphasize the immense importance of encouraging more women in careers of manufacturing. The winner may be a founder or an employee working at a management level in the private or public sector. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to companies and/or individuals that are owned/operated/reside in Idaho.
Empowering Women Award
This Award recognizes initiatives, programs and events put into place by resource partners, universities, statewide agencies, nonprofits, or even individuals in the wider community who encourage the progression of women in their careers. These initiatives may include mentoring, training support, DE&I work, networking opportunities, and personal development. The winner of this award is proactive in their approach to women in the workforce and actively empowers women to develop and thrive. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to entities and/or individuals owned/operated/reside in Idaho.
Trailblazer Award
This award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judging committee's opinion, has contributed to the success of her company. A trailblazer is a well-accomplished leader who has paved the way for others and has made impactful contributions to her community. She may be an entrepreneur or an employee working at the management level in the private or public sector. Passion, wisdom, vision and sound business ethics allow her to drive her success. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to companies / individuals who own a business or work in the state of Idaho.
Women in STEM Award
This award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judging committee's opinion, has contributed to the success of her company and is a role model for others. This award will be presented for innovation and leadership and the winner will demonstrate aptitude and passion in the technology field. This category was created to emphasize the immense importance of encouraging more women in careers of technology and STEM. The winner may be a female founder or an employee working at a management level in the private or public sector. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to companies and/or individuals that are owned/operated/reside in Idaho.
Start Up of the Year
This Award will be presented to a recently established start-up (1-3 years in business). A female founder who is creative, innovative, and striving to make an impact. This newcomer to entrepreneurship is on an upward climb towards building a successful business. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to companies and/or individual that are women owned/operated in the United States and US Territories.
Woman in Sustainability
This award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judging committee's opinion, has contributed to the success of her company and is a role model for others. The Sustainability Award will honor an individual who has made sustainability an integral part of their business practice. This award recognizes an entrepreneur for Earth-friendly work. The winner may be a founder or an employee working at a management level in the private or public sector. You can self-nominate. Nominations are open to companies and/or individuals that are owned/operated/reside in the United States and US Territories.
Women in Agribusiness Award
This award will be presented to a woman who, in your and the judging committee's opinion, has contributed to the success of her company and is a role model for others. This award will be presented to a woman who demonstrates leadership, strength, and passion in agriculture and food sciences. This category was created to emphasize the necessary and critical steps women are taking to promote building an ecological food and agricultural systems.. The winner may be a female founder or an employee working at a management level in the private or public sector. You can self-nominate.
